Course Objective: Instruction of participants in Manual Handling techniques in order to qualify them to provide training to employees involved in the Manual Handling of Loads.
Ensure that each individual will gain an understanding of the responsibility of an Instructor in order for him or her to instruct others.

Participant Profile: The Training Programme is open to people currently working or planning to work in the area of Health & Safety.

Examination: One written examination on the material covered throughout the training programme.
One practical examination on the material covered throughout the training programme.
Exam will take place on the final day. Pass mark is 60%.

  • How to Prepare Manual Handling training programmes for Staff

Certification: A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to each successful participant on this course
